Every plan starts and finishes in Shillong. These are suggestions, not booked tours, so adjust them for traffic, access and weather.
The shortest possible round trip from Shillong: a brief stop at the main viewpoint and straight back.

Stay at the main viewpoint. No valley descent or extra stops.

Return towards Shillong
Back in Shillong roughly three hours after leaving. A tight plan: skip it if current travel times leave too little margin.
The usual visit: about an hour at the viewpoints, time for photographs and a short stop in Smit on the way back.
